ABACUS Corporate Finance consists of the German company ABACUS Corporate Finance GmbH based in Essen in the heart of the Ruhr region,
and the Finnish ABACUS Corporate Finance Oy based in Helsinki.
We are an owner-managed and independent consulting boutique, that works

Continuity in climate protection since 2021: CO\u2082 compensation through renaturation of the Grotmoor<\/h4>

We are firmly committed to reducing our ecological footprint and are continuing our efforts to ensure a sustainable future. We are therefore building on our previous efforts and continuing to provide targeted support for the renaturation of a valuable German moorland landscape this year.<\/p>

Moorland renaturation remains our first choice for completely offsetting unavoidable CO\u2082 <\/span>emissions. Moorlands are invaluable allies in the fight against climate change, as they store many times more carbon than forests in a small area. By restoring and protecting these unique ecosystems, we are actively helping to stop CO\u2082<\/span> emissions and promote biodiversity.<\/p>

This year, we are supporting the rewetting of the Grotmoor <\/a><\/strong>in the Segeberg district (Schleswig-Holstein) through the \u201cMoorFutures\u201d program. Our contribution will enable the offsetting of 25 tons of CO\u2082 and ensure the protection of this important habitat for the next 50 years. In this way, we are once again making a small but effective contribution to regional climate and nature conservation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our commitment to disadvantaged children<\/b><\/p>

At ABACUS, social responsibility is not just a word, but a living part of our corporate values. In the first half of 2025, for example, we were proud to support F\u00f6rderturm e.V.,<\/strong><\/a> an association that opens up new opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people in Essen through education and leisure activities.<\/p>

One of the highlights of our support was the 1st F\u00f6rderturm Family Day,<\/b> where families and supporters came together to encourage the children with swing golf, football golf and lots of other activities. The 21st F\u00f6rderturm Charity Golf Cup 2025<\/b> also brought together numerous supporters at the Haus Oefte golf club.<\/a> The highlight of the evening was the emotional charity race, which raised an impressive sum.<\/p>

A big thank you to all the organisers, participants and supporters who made these events so special.
