The Siegfried Jost company:<\/h6>

Siegfried Jost GmbH & Co. KG, a non-ferrous metals trading and electro-smelting company, was founded in 1924 and adopted its current name in 1953. The company operates an electro-smelting plant, trades in non-ferrous metals and has developed over the years into a manufacturer of non-ferrous metal ingots. The focus is on consistent automation, cost-effective management and high-quality copper-based alloys in ingot form. The customer base is diverse and includes, amongst others, companies from the glass, sanitaryware and stamped parts sectors.<\/p>

The challenge<\/h6>

The transaction centred on arranging the business succession. The aim was to find a reliable partner who would maintain the site whilst continuing the company\u2019s tradition and long-standing customer relationships. At the same time, the solution was intended to safeguard the continuity of the business model and the company\u2019s long-term direction. Our task was to find a buyer who was a good fit for Siegfried Jost, both professionally and culturally, and who could offer stable prospects for the next generation.<\/p>

As part of a structured M&A process, we provided exclusive support to the seller \u2013 from developing the transaction concept, through preparing the process documentation and approaching suitable investors across Europe, to supporting the due diligence process and the notarised completion of the transaction. Our experience in comparable transactions, together with our access to relevant strategic buyers, was a key factor in successfully shaping the succession plan for Siegfried Jost in a targeted manner and in the interests of all parties involved.<\/p>

The solution: TSR Recycling as a partner<\/h6>

TSR Recycling, part of the REMONDIS Group, is a leading provider of metal recycling and high-purity recycled raw materials for industrial applications. The company sees itself as a reliable raw materials partner for industry and combines the circular economy with a sustainable supply of raw materials.<\/p>

In TSR Recycling, a buyer was found that offers an excellent strategic fit and aligns with Jost both culturally and in terms of business focus. Integration into the TSR and REMONDIS Group will create additional synergies and provide a strong foundation for the further development of the business. TSR Recycling will continue to operate the company from its existing site, thereby ensuring continuity for staff and customers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
