Lübke & Vogt gains
Angst + Pfister as its new owner
We supported the generational transition right through to its successful completion.
The company Lübke & Vogt:
Lübke & Vogt GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized specialist in the large-scale production of small technical moulded parts made from all types of elastomers, based in the Sauerland region. Since 1968, the company has been producing a wide range of technically sophisticated rubber moulded parts for industrial applications, including seals, sleeves, switch caps, grommets, buffers, dampers and two-component parts. With around 400 employees, flexible SME structures and a high level of expertise in materials, Lübke & Vogt supplies customers worldwide and stands for precision-engineered, high-quality products ‘Made in Germany’.
The challenge
The starting point for the transaction was to arrange the business succession at Lübke & Vogt. The shareholders needed to ensure the long-term continuation of the successful business whilst preserving the tried-and-tested structures of a medium-sized enterprise. We were commissioned to provide structured advice and support throughout the M&A process in order to ensure a professional transition.
The solution: Angst + Pfister as a partner
Angst + Pfister is an internationally active development partner and system provider for technical components and solutions based on elastomeric materials, supporting customers across numerous industries with engineering know-how, materials expertise and a global production and distribution network. With locations worldwide, in-house research and development, and comprehensive application knowledge, Angst + Pfister offers bespoke solutions from material selection through to series production.
Thanks to the existing relationship between the parties, a suitable buyer had already been identified at the start of the project, allowing us to focus on the structured organisation and management of the sale process. The combination of Lübke & Vogt’s specialised product portfolio and Angst + Pfister’s international presence represents a compelling strategic fit. As part of the transaction, we managed the structured process, coordinated the due diligence and acted as an experienced, reliable point of contact for both parties on matters relating to both substance and process.
