Domenico Blyth

is Managing Director of ABACUS Corporate Finance Oy, based in Helsinki (Finland). Prior to joining ABACUS and founding the ABACUS office in the Nordics, Domenico spent ten years in different fields of consultancy. In his earlier consultancy years, Domenico was active in restructuring where he gained valuable experience in the identification of company potentials and in the support of operational restructuring. Thereafter, together with Fabian Durst, he developed the business of a medium-sized M&A boutique in Germany. As M&A advisor and interim manager Domenico has successfully accompanied more than 50 national and international M&A transactions in various industries. Besides other industries, he has substantial experiences in the field of Renewable Energy. Today, Domenico’s focus lies on transaction advisory for entrepreneurs and investors as well as on the development of corporate strategies.

Domenico has studied European Business Studies at the University of Applied Sciences Aachen (Germany), at the Università degli Studi di Firenze (Florence, Italy) and at the Mid Sweden University (Östersund, Sweden). He holds lectures about corporate succession and has, for example, been the co-author of a study on investing in German onshore wind energy.
